Proposed Faculty Development Program (2015-16)

Greetings from Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat!!!

Knowledge Consortium Of Gujarat, Department of Education, Government of Gujarat is pleased to inform you that we are holding one week Training Program for the faculties of the different Universities / Colleges of Gujarat to provide opportunities for professional and career development as per UGC norms, so that faculties may fulfill their role and responsibility within the system of higher education. It is proposed to enhance their motivational skills and knowledge through systematic orientation in specific topics, techniques and methodologies, thereby to encourage them to take initiatives for innovative and creative work.

Proposed orientation program is free of cost for the participating Faculties.

Proposed Faculty Development Program (2015-16) is,

The focus of the training Program will be on:

1. Enhancement of teaching, learning and evaluation related skills.
2. To make them acquainted with modern assessment related methodologies.
3. To brainstorm them with operational and administrative issues.
4. To give an overview of KCG initiatives.
5. To encourage faculties to participate in major and minor research

‘सामाजिक फासीवाद के घेरे में उच्च शिक्षण केंद्र (प्रभाव, संघर्ष एवं चुनौतियां)’

रोहित वेमुला अब मात्र नाम नहीं रहा, यह एक आंदोलन का नाम है. आज देश में जगह जगह पर रोहित वेमुला के माध्यम से आंदोलन हो रहे है, शिक्षा में एवं उच्च शिक्षा में दलित एवं महिला के विरोध में याथास्थितिवादी ताकतें कार्य कर रही है, इसी का परिणाम है की, रोहित को आत्महत्या करनी पड़ी. आज सभी एक मंच पर खड़े है, लगभग सभी दलित/महिला आदि ने उच्च शिक्षा में जातिवादी दंश को जेल है एवं वर्तमान में जेल रहे है. यह सामाजिक फासीवादी व्यवस्था में जकड़े होने का अहसास दिलाती है, इस व्यवस्था के बदलाव के लिए रोहित को शहीद होना पड़ा. शहीद रोहित वेमुला के प्रति हार्दिक शब्दांजलि के साथ सेंटर फॉर दलित लिटरेचर एंड आर्ट, नई दिल्ली के ‘सामाजिक फासीवाद के घेरे में उच्च शिक्षण केंद्र (प्रभाव, संघर्ष एवं चुनौतियां)’ विषय पर हो रहे संवाद में आप सभी आमंत्रित है.
