International Conference : Air University

Dear Sir/Madam,

Faculty of Social Sciences, Air University is pleased to announce its Call for Papers for 3-days (15, 16 & 17 December 2015) International Conference entitled Emerging Trends of Researching Language, Linguistics and Literature. The conference would be housed in the Department of Humanities, Air University, Main Campus PAF Complex, Sector E-9 Islamabad. The conference would be followed by a paid workshop on Corpus Development conducted by national and international experts on 18th December 2015 (the details about the workshop are available on the conference website Link: http://portals.au.edu.pk/eng/Home.aspx).     

Due to the increasing number of requests, the deadlines of the conference have been extended and the conference dates have been shifted accordingly.

Design a Logo for Dr. Ambedkar Foundation

The Dr. Ambedkar Foundation (DAF) is an autonomous body under the administrative control of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. The Foundation has been entrusted with the responsibility of managing, administering and carrying on the important and long-term schemes and programmes identified during the Centenary Celebration of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. The main objectives of the foundation inter alia include implementation of programmes and activities for furthering the ideology and message of Babasaheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar among the masses in India as well as abroad.

The activities and programmes currently pursued by the Foundation are as given below:-

• Setting up of Dr. Ambedkar National Public Library at Janpath.
• Dr. Ambedkar National Award for Social Understanding and Upliftment of Weaker Sections.
• Dr. Ambedkar International Award for Social Change.
• Dr. Ambedkar Chairs in Universities/Institution for carrying out research on the thoughts and ideals of Babasaheb.
• Publication of the Collected Works of Babasaheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar into Hindi and other regional languages
• Dr. Ambedkar National Merit Award Schemes for meritorious student of Secondary Examination belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes
• Organization of seminars, symposia, conferences, workshops, lectures, exhibitions and fairs on the life and mission of Dr. Ambedkar
• Celebration of Birth Anniversary and Mahaparinirwan Diwas of Dr. Ambedkar of 14th April and 6th December respectively every year.
• Publication of Samajik Nyay Sandesh, a monthly Magazine in Hindi
• Dr. Ambedkar Medical Aid Schemes
• Dr. Ambedkar Samajik Samta Kendra Yojna
• Celebration of Birth Anniversary of Great Saints
• Dr. Ambedkar National Merit Award Schemes for meritorious students of Senior Secondary Examination belonging to Scheduled Castes.
• Dr. Ambedkar National Relief to SC victims of Atrocities.

Presently, the Foundation does not have any logo of its own. Therefore, invitation is given welcoming inputs for designing a logo for DAF.

This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Dr. Ambedkar Foundation.

The last date of submission is 18th September, 2015.

The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 25,000/-.

Creative spaeca का प्रस्तुत अंक आपके सामने रखते हुए, आप सभी का धन्यवाद ज्ञापन करते है | आप सभी ने हमें पूरा सहयोग दिया है, ताकि हम आपके सामने नये लेखकों के साथ नये आलेखो का रसास्वाद करा सके | हाल के वर्षो में शिक्षा का जो स्तर हमारे सामने आ रहा है उस पर सोचना दहला देता है |

जहाँ पर हम सरकार का रवैया शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में  देख रहे है, वह निराशाजनक है | सरकारी कॉलेज है, उसमें विद्यार्थी भी है, पर अध्यापक नहीं है, है तो कहीं गिने चुने यानी एक ही होते है | वैसे भी अध्यापकी में अभी भी फिक्स पेमेंट पर रोजगार दिया जाता है, जिसका कोई भविष्य नहीं है, वह अपनी असुरक्षा के चलते विद्यार्थिओं को कैसी शिक्षा देता होगा ? हम सुनते है की, फलानेने आत्महत्या मानसिक रूप से कमजोर होने से या हताहत हने से की है, कभी कभी ऐसा मंजर भी सामने आता है की, परिवार के डर से, कम गुणांकन आने से, रोजगारी न मिलने से आत्महत्या होती रहती है | मानसिक प्रताड़ना का आत्महत्या में कितना हिस्सा है यह आप खुद ही देख सकते हो... फिर भी यह कामना की जाती है की, असुरक्षा में भी अध्यापक अपना कार्य पुरे तन-मन से करें | दूसरा यह भी है की, पढने के अलावा सेमेस्टर सिस्टम में अनेक प्रवृत्ति भी आ जाति है, जिसे अध्यापक लोग सुपरमेन बन के करते रहते है ... फिर भी सरकार जब भी बजट आता है, जब भी वेतन बढ़ोत्तरी की माँग उठती है, सरकार चरमरा जाती है | जहाँ विद्यार्थी जून, जूलाई तक बिना अध्यापक ही पढ़ते है एवं साल पूरा हो जाने पर नये साल में नये अध्यापक का परिचय होता है | यह ऐसा समय है, जहाँ पर आपके श्रम का कोई मूल्य नहीं है, एवं अगर आप वह काम करने के लिए तैयार नहीं हो तो सरकार किसी को भी बैठा दे या फिर किसी को बैठाये ही नहीं एवं विद्यार्थिओं को उनके हाल पर छोड़ दिया जाता है की वह भी जूनियर सुपरमेन है, कुछ न कुछ रास्ता निकाल हिल लेगें | विद्यार्थियो के पास अध्यापक मार्गदर्शन देते है, कई पुस्तकों के रेफ़रन्स भी देते है, पर यह सारा वाकया एक तरह से कथा हो जाता है, क्यों की विद्यार्थी के लिए पुस्तकालय ही नहीं है | उनके पास दो ही रास्ते होते है, अध्यापक जो कहे उसे मान ले, या ना माने | शिक्षा का बजट सालो साल कम ही होता जाता है, योजनायें बढती जाती है ... | निजी क्षेत्र को बढ़ावा सरकार की जिम्मदारी कम करता है, तो जिस सरकार को लोग वोट देते है, वही निजी क्षेत्र में काम करते हुए मानसिक प्रताड़ना के शिकार होते है, वेतन के नाम पर तो कभी श्रम के घंटो में बढ़ावा करके | वोट के अधिकार के वक्त ही भारत में बसे लोग जिम्मेदार नागरिक कहलाते है, जैसे ही वोट दे दिया अब वह रोबोट मां लिया जाता है, जो कहे वह काम करें एवं कभी भी माँग ना करे अपने अधिकारों की | कई निजी संस्थान अपने परिवार एवं अपने समाज को ही रोजगारी देते है पर उपभोक्ता सब लोग होते है | यह समय ऐसा है जहाँ पर अमीर अमीर बनता जाता है, गरीब और गरीब | फिर हम दोष देते है की दुनिया कहाँ से कहाँ पहुँच गई, हम है की वही के वही है |

हमारी शिक्षानीति का बखान जितना भी किया जाए कम है | हमनें भी हमारी मानसिकता जैसे गिरवी रक्खी हुई है | कभी भी हमने वैज्ञानिक विचारधारा का समर्थन नहीं किया है, हम शोध करते हुए भी कई लोगो को पूज्य मानते है, या मानना पड़ता है | यही भावना एवं गुरु शिष्य परम्परा ने हमें खोखला किया है | गुरु अपने आपको उच्च मानते हुए कभी अपने अधिकार नहीं मांगेगे, शिष्य पूज्य मानते हुए उसी के रास्ते चलने लगता है | यह विसंगता आखिर हमारा दमन करनेवाली सिस्टम को ही बढ़ावा देती है | हमें यह कहते है की हम अभी सक्षम नहीं हुए है, पर जब कोई अमीर आता है, तो सरकार बिना कुछ कहे उन्हें बिना ब्याज के लोन भी दे देती है | हमें कभी कभी हमारे ही स्वास्थ्य के लिए निजी अस्पतालों में जाना पड़ता है, वहाँ पर वही डॉ. मिल जाते है जो मेनेजमेंट में एडमिशन ले के अपना खुद का बड़ा अस्पताल बना लेते है | सरकार भी उसी को अपनी जमीन देती है और वह उसी सरकार की जमीन पर, सरकार के नागरिकों का इलाज़ करते है | यह विसंगता ही है कि, हमारा समय उलजनो में ही बीत जाता है | फिर भी उम्मीद है, बदलाव आयेगा..... |
